I started my PhD with the Senn group in 2022. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2015, with my master’s project in electrochemistry focusing on developing catalysts for vanadium based redox flow batteries. I then worked in the pharmaceutical industry as an analytical scientist before deciding to return to research.
My research is focused on studying rare-earth copper oxide materials, specifically those associated with high temperature superconductivity. With the aid of high-pressure synthesis techniques, I will investigate how doping these materials leads to structural changes which in turn affect the superconducting properties.
