AA′ 3 B 4O12 structure. Both phases form a G-type spin structure of Cu2+ spins below 24
K, although their magnetisms are quite different. The former undergoes a typical
antiferromagnetic transition, whereas the latter shows an L-type ferrimagnetism. The
unusual ferrimagnetism is a direct consequence of the Ce/vacancy ordering.
